• This suggestion from someone affected prompted us to do some more detailed research into what options there are. And lo and behold, there really are such things!

• These cool packs can be used once , produce a coldness like freshly taken from the freezer and last for about 20-30 minutes. Inside the bags there is a bubble that needs to be crushed with firm pressure and then shaken vigorously with the granules in the bag. This creates a cold reaction that you can use as a skill.

The right size is crucial for cooling performance

• The portable cooling compresses measure 15cm x 17cm . They are a compromise between size and cooling performance.

• In our experience, compresses that are too small do not cool strongly enough and also cool down quickly, which makes them rather unsuitable as a skill

• As a skill, place the cool pack on your wrists or neck when you are tense or dissociated . You can also place it on your forehead or other preferred places for regulation.
